What can I dispute?

How long do disputes take?

What if my dispute comes back verified but wrong?

What is pay‑for‑delete?
Negotiation with a collector to remove their tradeline after payment. Get written terms before paying; policies vary by agency.
How do goodwill letters work?
For one‑off lates with otherwise good history, ask the lender to remove the late as a courtesy. Results vary, but a polite, factual letter helps.
Should I use a credit repair company?
