Welcome

This Privacy Policy describes how Swift ("Swift," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our websites, apps, content, courses, tools, and related services (the "Services").

Education Only. Swift provides financial education and general information—not financial, investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice. For legal terms governing your use of the Services, see our Terms of Service.

Notice at Collection (What We Collect & Why)

We collect the following categories of personal information for the purposes described:

  • Identifiers: name, username, email, phone, IP address, device IDs — for account creation, authentication, security, customer support, and service communications.
  • Commercial Information: plan tier, purchase history, payment status (tokenized by processors) — to provide subscriptions, billing, and account management.
  • Internet/Electronic Activity: pages viewed, clicks, referring URLs, session duration, crash logs, and device/browser metadata — to operate, secure, and improve the Services.
  • Approximate Geolocation: inferred from IP — to apply regional settings (e.g., tax, language) and detect fraud.
  • User Content: posts, messages, uploads, course progress — to deliver educational features you request.
  • Inferences: derived preferences (e.g., topics of interest) — to personalize content and measure engagement.
  • Sensitive Data (generally not requested): we do not require SSNs or government IDs for education features. If a third-party finance provider requests sensitive data, it's collected under that provider's policy—not by Swift.

Retention: We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes above, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

  • Automatically (cookies, security tools, SDKs, server logs).

  • Process subscriptions and payments.

How We Disclose Personal Information

We disclose personal information to:

  • Service Providers / Processors (hosting, cloud, authentication, payments, email, support) under contracts that limit use to our instructions.
  • Integration Partners you choose (e.g., BNPL providers, affiliate networks, retailers).
  • Affiliates (corporate family) for operations consistent with this Policy.
  • Legal / Safety (to comply with law, enforce Terms, protect rights, prevent fraud or abuse).
  • Business Transfers (merger, acquisition, asset sale). Notice will be provided where required.
Data Use for Business & Commercial Purposes

We may use certain categories of personal information — such as identifiers, commercial information, and internet activity — for business and commercial purposes, including:

  • Developing new products, analytics, and AI-based tools.
  • Generating anonymized or aggregated insights for research.
  • Partnering with third parties for co-branded or analytical collaborations.
  • Supporting marketing, affiliate, and business-development operations.

When permitted by law, Swift may sell or share personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar laws. "Sell" does not mean handing over your data for cash — it means disclosing certain data to approved partners for valuable consideration, such as insights or audience analytics.

  • We do not sell sensitive personal information (e.g., financial data, passwords, government IDs).
  • You can opt out of sale or sharing any time by visiting our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page or emailing info@myswiftshop.com with the subject "Do Not Sell/Share My Personal Information."
  • We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out where required by law.
