Not guaranteed. Some models weigh rent; others ignore it. It’s still useful positive history.
Do I need my landlord involved?
Providers often verify with the landlord/manager or accept portal screenshots and bank evidence.
Can I stop reporting later?
Yes. You can usually stop future reporting; past history may remain as a positive tradeline.
